enlightenVue has developed a novel single-use, 2mm micro endoscope platform (surgiVue™) with an expandable tip and two working channels. 510(k) cleared, with broad multispecialty labeling across hepatobiliary, pulmonary, urology, ENT, and vascular applications.
What Cicada Did
Sharpened the equity story and positioning for the surgiVue™ platform. Built the LSI USA 2026 pitch deck and executive summary for the conference circuit. Ran targeted investor outreach across family offices, strategic investors, and growth equity heading into the seed round, building and activating the pipeline in parallel with the pitch.
The Outcome
Successful seed round closed. A high-quality, multi-channel investor pipeline established coming out of LSI 2026 to support continued commercialization and the path to Series A.
The Company
Omega Optical Holdings and Artemis Capital acquired 4 complementary business units, building a 240+ employee optics platform serving the medical device and industrial markets, including decades-old suppliers with long-standing customer relationships and no shared commercial infrastructure.
What Cicada Did
Unified all integrated operations onto a single CRM platform, combining 50-year-old suppliers and enabling cross-sales and complete marketing visibility between subsidiaries for the first time. Cicada maintains Omega's CRM on an ongoing basis, supports active SEM campaigns, and advises on strategy and website development across 4 differentiated entities.
The Outcome
$1.5M+ in net new business directly attributed to Cicada's SEM campaign. Unified CRM giving the platform full cross-subsidiary visibility into pipeline, customer relationships, and marketing performance.
The Company
Conformal Medical is a clinical-stage Class III medical device company operating in the electrophysiology and cardiology space. Following a successful $35 million Series D round, the company needed to accelerate clinical site engagement and build durable KOL presence ahead of commercialization.
What Cicada Did
Engaged post-Series D to support outbound communication strategy across email, social media, and electrophysiology and cardiology channels. Established KOL presence in industry publications and events. Supporting infrastructure for the active trial app, and implementing a unified CRM platform for site-lead engagement and tracking.
The Outcome
Active clinical trial infrastructure in place with full CRM visibility into site-lead engagement. Electrophysiology KOL program underway across publications and conference channels.
What It Is
Cicada owns and operates The MedTech Collaborative, a New England medtech industry organization with over 8,000 subscribers including clinicians, startups, industry leaders, and key opinion leaders. It provides a direct channel to engaged stakeholders, including a captive audience of early-adopter HCPs who actively seek innovation in their fields.
What We've Built
Monthly in-person events across three regions that regularly draw 40+ attendees. An annual conference with 250+ attendees and meaningful industry representation. A sponsor-supported annual pitch competition that delivers up to $15,000 in non-dilutive funding. An engaged digital subscriber base with high open and click rates across newsletters and event invitations.
